Mikan Drill- History
The Mikan Drill is a basketball drill commonly credited to George Mikan and his college coach at DePaul University Ray Meyer.
This drill is designed to help basketball players of all positions develop rhythm, timing for rebounding, and scoring in the paint.
Points of Emphasis :

Catch the ball out of the net

Keep the ball high, NOT allowing defenders to strip the ball from you

Get your feet down quick for a solid base and finish the layup.
